The publication listed Jay Z’s wife at the top of its Celebrity 100 list, declaring the Grammy winner is currently the most powerful A-Lister around.Forbes explained the pick, noting that her mega Mrs. Carter Show World Tour brought in about $2.4 million for each of the 95 shows, and that her surprise, self-titled fifth studio album broke sales records on iTunes after no promotion.
Also noteworthy are Bey’s endorsement deals with major companies like H&M and Pepsi, her fragrance lines, and her clothing company House of Dereon. The magazine went on to estimate that the superstar earned $115 million in the last year—and that’s before sales from On the Run tour with Jay Z were tallied.
Bey bumped mogul Oprah Winfrey from the the top spot, which she held in 2013. Now the leader of a TV and magazine empire holds the fourth spot on the list, earning an estimated $82 million in the past year.
