Dylan Penn Opens Up About Dad Sean Penn, Charlize Theron’s Relationship: “They’re a Great Couple”

Congrats, Charlize— your boyfriend’s little girl approves! Sean Penn’s actress-daughter Dylan Penn spoke to Us Weekly about her father’s relationship with the South African beauty while attending the DT Model Management 2-Year Anniversary Party in West Hollywood on Thursday, July 24.

“They’re a great couple. They’re both very happy and yeah, I love it,” the 23-year-old told Us at PUMP Lounge. “They’re both extremely strong personalities and they’re very intelligent so conversation lasts between them.”

Theron, 38, sparked speculation that she and Penn, 53, were engaged when she stepped out wearing a $4,900 Anita Ko Leaf Ring in L.A. on July 23. As previously reported, however, the two are not engaged yet and Theron bought the striking jewelry herself.

As for Dylan, well, she was even unsure at the time news broke. “I heard that rumor,”Robert Pattinson’s former fling told Us. “I don’t even know. I have no idea.”

Nonetheless, the Vogue model would be more than happy to welcome the Mad Max: Fury Road actress into the family. “Always. Sure, why not?” she said. “If it’s meant to be.”

Same goes for getting a half sibling one day, too. “Always,” she said. “The more the merrier.” (Sean and House of Cards actress Robin Wright are parents to Dylan and son Hopper, 20. Theron’s beau was also famously married to Madonna in the ’80s.)

Luckily for Dylan, her wishes may come true. As exclusively revealed, Theron and Penn plan to wed in South Africa this summer as well as extend their family. “Sean is revitalized with Charlize,” a source told Us. “They want to get married very soon.”
